Bill Wyman, legendary bassist who served the Rolling Stones for 31 years from 1962-1993, has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer, the BBC reports. A spokesperson has said, “he is undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery as it was caught in the early stages”.
Wyman, now 79, reunited with the Rolling Stones at London’s O2 Arena for a one-off gig in 2012. The show was a celebration of 50 incredible years of music with the band. We wish Wyman all the best in his treatment and recovery.
