Celebrating a million followers on SoundCloud today, Four Tet has shared a brand new song. The tune’s extensive title, which could easily contest for longest ever, slowed down the uploading process, the producer admitted, via Twitter.
Four Tet, who recently shared a rare Madlib and Future Islands’s Sam Herring collaboration, has also recently released his latest album, There Is Love In You.
“TrackI’veBeenPlayingOnRadio+StuffSeemsNiceThing2DropBecauseSmashingItOnInternetShouts2B.UFO+A.Naples” is an eclectic effort. There are Far Eastern influences, with chopped up vocals samples and an ever building drum track. Towards the end it becomes very ambient, tinkling, washing over the listener and quite moody. Very atmospheric.
