French electronic duo Neumodel have released the official music video for their new track “HAYAH”, featuring French singer Kiddy Smile.
The “HAYAH” music video was directed by rising French director Axel Morin and recently premiered with Flaunt Magazine. Entirely black and white, this potent breath-taking video shows human figures engaged in twisting movements on both watery and hard surfaces.
Neumodel members were born in the 90’s and grew up listening to Korn, Rammstein, Slipknot and Marilyn Manson albums. Talking about their own style, Neumodel said that “it’s not easy to know where our music taste stands, and to know how to exist – not in the public eye but in our own eyes”.
However, their electro-rock sounds are definitely a vivid tribute to the music they’ve grown up with, not as an homage to those artists per se, but with the purpose to revisit a style that has the potential to revolutionise the music establishment.
“HAYAH” is the powerful first single to be released off Neumodel’s newly announced debut album Rock, coming later this Spring. “With Rock” stated the French duo, “we are coming back to the essence of Neumodel: the guitar”.
