Future – Crushed Up | New Music

On Thursday night, American rapper, singer and songwriter Future posted a countdown on his Instagram Story which grabbed fans’ attention immediately. As the timer hit midnight, a brand new single titled “Crushed Up” appeared on all streaming platforms. A music video for the track has been released as well.

The Wheezy-produced “Crushed Up” is definitely a banger and its visual is a unique one. Future’s vocals are mixed with synths and the instrumentation is a catchy beat and a tune for the nightclub. “Diamonds in the face, crushed up, I can see it”, the artist raps.

The high-quality music video is winter-themed and captures Future in a palace that is covered in ice and snow as the rapper surrounds himself by ballerina dancers. The production design and shots are very cinematic and the musical underscore in the intro definitely adds intensity and suspense to the visual.

“Crushed Up” serves as a follow-up to Future’s previous collaborative track “NASA” that featured French Montana. Towards the end of last year, the artist had also shared his collaboration album with Juice WRLD titled WRLD On Drugs. Prior to that, the three projects Beast Mode, Purple Reign, and F.B.G.: The Movie had been shared at the beginning of 2018.

Fans have speculated that Future likes to release music to start out the year. Therefore, an upcoming project is very likely to be in the making. But until then we can enjoy his brand new single with the brilliant visual. Make sure to check it out below.
