After his last album The Rebirth Of…, R&B singer Gary Beals was away for more than 10 years! During these years of silence, the artist took the opportunity to concentrate on himself and to grow personally. But good news, he’s back! The artist is planning to release his new and third album Bleed My Truth this summer.
This album will be composed of Soul, Pop and Gospel. It will explore themes of identity, individuality, sexuality and love, feelings he drew from deep within himself. While waiting for it, his brand new single “Me For Me”, will be released on March 20!
Garry Beals grew up in Brooke, Nova Scotia. Singing in the local church choir and in the gospel group Light Of Day, he developed his voice and musical sense. He has released his first eponymous album in 2005 and his second album The Rebirth Of… released in 2009 earned him a lot of positive reviews.
He is inspired by iconic artists such as Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. The single “Me For Me” is about vulnerability in relationships. Gary Beals come back with a more conscious version of himself and invites listeners to experience self-revelation in the same way.
