Why is it always that lesbians get more moments of PDA than gays in Hollywood films? John Cho has claimed that a “welcome home kiss” between his character, Hikaru Sulu, and his male partner was cut from the recent Star Trek movie Star Trek Beyond.
In an interview with Vulture he commented:
“There was a kiss that I think is not there anymore, it wasn’t like a make-out session. We’re at the airport with our daughter. It was a welcome-home kiss. I’m actually proud of that scene, because it was pretty tough”.
