Fresh from baking the Queen’s 90th Birthday cake, Nadiya Hussain has shed light on what fans can expect from her upcoming cooking show The Chronicles of Nadiya.
The show is set to be a two-parter which will air on BBC One and will see the star combine her love and passion for baking with her roots in Bangladesh.
Speaking to Digital Spy whilst at the TV BAFTA awards last night, The Great British Bake Off winner said;
“It’s just my travels back to Bangladesh,” she said. “That’s where my family are from and it’s a mixture of travelling – I’ve not been back for a decade, so just going back, seeing my family and then seeing parts of Bangladesh that I’ve never seen – a mixture of food and family and just being out there on my own.”
The Great British Bake Off won the BAFTA Award for Best Feature at last night’s ceremony held in London’s Southbank.
