George Clooney has spent the best part of a decade trying to get film Suburbicon made, and the original plan was to have the Coen Brothers to direct from their own script. However, it was recently announced that Clooney would be taking the reins of the film himself. Suburbicon has been kept under wraps, but what is known is that it will be a 50s small crime drama/film noir. Clooney himself stated that it would be comedic, and tonally similar to an early Coen film Blood Simple.
