Grammy-nominated artist hailing from the DMV GoldLink has finally shared his brand new video for “Got Friends” with R&B’s very own Miguel. It’s a abstract and creative video from the DC rapper who is channeling some serious “Thriller” vibes.
Shot in Los Angeles and directed by Christian Sutton, the video follows a group of friends on an uneventful night out that takes an unexpected turn towards the supernatural. GoldLink takes a backseat for the video with Miguel having a starring role as he floats above the ground and lures his prey alongside some fearsome vampires.
Having recently concluded three nights of intimate, sold-out shows at DC’s iconic U Street Music Hall and sold-out his headline show at Electric Brixton after a string of UK and European tour dates last year, the At What Cost campaign is clearly over and with this new video, GoldLink has his sights set on a new possible album in the pipeline.
