Multi-faceted, Grammy-nominated supergroup Dinner Party have unveiled their highly anticipated new album, Enigmatic Society, led by new single “Can’t Go”. This album showcases an impressive mix of voices, with instrumentation beautifully accompanied by rhythmic percussion.

Enigmatic Society is a mesmerizing collection of opulent instrumentation and sleek R&B to smooth neo-soul vocals. The album boasts outstanding performances from the original Dinner Party members: Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, and 9th Wonder. Additional vocalists Phoelix, Arin Ray, Ant Clemons, Tank, and producers Sounwave, Hi-Tek, and Trevor Lawrence Jr. lend their talents to the project.

The album serves as a follow-up to the group’s 2020 self-titled debut and continues to celebrate Black joy, life, art, and culture. It pays tribute to the duality present in both the beauty and adversity of Black America. This profound sense of community and family is evident in the project’s artwork, designed by Kamasi Washington’s sister, artist Amani Washington.

Dinner Party: Dessert, a reworked version featuring Cordae, Herbie Hancock, Buddy, Bilal, Tank and the Bangas, Punch, Rapsody, Reuben Vincent, Malaya, Alex Isley, and Phoelix, earned a Grammy nomination in 2022 for Best Progressive R&B Album.
