That’s right. As if Beauty And The Beast wasn’t exciting enough, they’ve only gone and added singing sensation, Josh Groban, to the mix.

The operatic ballad artist’s voice is perfect for a Disney song, with president of Disney Music for Motion Pictures, Mitchell Leib, insisting he was the only contender who had the power to sing such a “demanding song”.

His voice is a natural fit for this showstopper of a composition”.

The new song, “Evermore”, is reportedly performed by the Beast when he returns Belle to her father and is described as a ballad. It was written by Disney’s legendary composers Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin) and Tim Rice (The Lion King), who between them possess eleven Academy Awards. Menken has done the entire score for the new movie and we can expect some new releases of the classics from the animated film.

The movie soundtrack will be available on Friday, March 10.

Good God it’s exciting.
