Guardians of the Galaxy was one of the biggest films of last year and almost instantly was booked for a sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which is set to hit our screens in 2017. The original saw a band of misfits, including Groot, an animated tree, and his buddy Rocket Racoon, a Racoon who carries a big rocket launcher, trying to save the Galaxy from the evil Ronan. The film will once again be directed and written by the kooky and wonderful James Gunn who recently took to Twitter to share some new info with his fans about the new movie.
One of the many small tidbits Gunn gave out was that there is a version of the script which translates Groot’s sayings, which only he and Groot himself, Vin Diesel, have access to. Alongside this, he let people know that the script was more or less complete, and the film will be exactly what James Gunn wants the film to be, tweeting out “I’m directing exactly the movie I want to direct. Some days I can hardly believe this is all real. I’m grateful”.
