Ghanaian artist Gyakie and Nigerian superstar Omah Lay have released a brand new remix of her single “Forever”, which is already number one in Ghana. The EP Seed, which birthed the original single, has also generated over 11 million streams all together, also gathering fans all around the world for her afrofusion sound.
Gyakie has been releasing high quality music over the years, including “Love Is Pretty” (2019), “Never Like This” (2019) and “Sor Mi Wu” featuring Bisa Kdei (2020), in which she sings so sweetly from the heart and we can notice the raw emotion in her voice to captivate all those listening.
She is the daughter of Ghanaian music legend, Nana Acheampong from the famous Lumba Brothers, Gyakie was born witnessing a successful legacy during her childhood, now she’s 22 years old and has put all that training and observation to practice, following her mother’s foot steps into greatness.
The original “Forever” single peaked at number one on music charts in Ghana and Nigeria, and continues to takeover on platforms like Apple Music, Billboard, Shazam, Triller and YouTube, while her EP Seed has been very well-received by the public, she is asserting her status as the next takeover star from Africa.
