Halsey has shared details of her 2020 UK and Ireland arena tour in support of the singer’s upcoming album Manic. The follow-up to 2017’s successful Hopeless Fountain Kingdom is due for release on January 17.
American singer-songwriter Halsey announced she will be hitting the road in March to bring her third LP Manic to life. She is slated to begin her UK and Ireland tour on March 7 in Glasgow and wrap in up five days later in Manchester.
The singer will also stop at The O2 arena in London on March 8 and then take her new album to Dublin’s 3 Arena on March 10.
On her upcoming tour, Halsey will be accompanied by English indie pop group Pale Waves. The tickets are on sale from 8am on Friday, September 27.
Halsey’s third full-length arrives in January and the artist describes it as “less dystopian fantasy world and more like, ‘This is what I’m thinking right now: the world sucks. F**k’”.
Manic is also expected to be written from a more feminist perspective. “Female rage is a very tight subject for me right now”, Halsey revealed.
“I’m interested in female everything right now… I went from only wanting to hang out with boys to ‘I love women, they’re awesome.’ I’ve grown out of my internalised misogyny”.
