Harrison Ford recently opened up the conversation of him reprising his role of the whip-cracking, scourge of the Nazis, archaeologist Indiana Jones. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Harrison Ford was asked whether he would reprise another iconic role (He’s playing Han Solo in Star Wars VII, in case you hadn’t heard) and he had this to say: “Yeah, I’d love to do another Indiana Jones, A character that has a history and a potential, kind of a rollicking good movie ride for the audience, Steven Spielberg as a director — what’s not to like“?
Ford, 73, last played Indiana Jones in the 2008 adventure Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, also directed by Spielberg. That feature was not received well by all who saw it and, much like light aircraft, Harrison Ford should probably stay well away from this, given the bad taste it left in many viewers’ mouths. (Here’s hoping the same can’t be said about Han Solo)
