Jake Quickenden first came to our attention with not 1, but 2 appearances on the X Factor: making it through to the Judges’ Houses round in 2012, before bagging a spot on the final live line-up in 2014. He followed up his elimination by going straight into the I’m A Celebrity jungle, and finished up as runner-up on the show.
Now it looks like soap-stardom may be beckoning for Quickenden, with a possible role in Hollyoaks on the horizon. Neither his agent or the Hollyoaks folk are confirming this one at the moment, but the soap’s head honchos are said to be very keen on him auditioning for a role.
Cheeky Quickenden teased his Twitter followers recently, saying that 2016 holds something “even better” for him. I wonder what that could be?
