Headliners For The Eaux Claires Music Festival Announced | Music News
The headliners for the 2016 edition of the Eaux Claires Music Festival have been announced: after a first lineup was teased through a cassette’s tracklist sent to early-bird tickets holders (of which we spoke about here), the official lineup has been confirmed and it sounds exciting.
Taking place in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, between the 12th and the 13th of August, the festival will feature artists like Erykah Badu, James Blake, Beach House, Vince Staples, Har Mar Superstar, Mavis Staples, Nathaniel Rateliff, and The Night Sweats.
Justin Vernon, curater of the festival lineup together with The National’s Aaron Dessner, is also confirmed to perform with his band Bon Iver, while Dessner and his brother Bryce are planning the Grateful Dead tribute project “Day of the Dead”, a special performance night featuring all-star musicians who will cover Grateful Dead’s songs.
