Bristol punk band Heavy Lungs, are set to release their third EP Measure on the 10th of October. This new five-track recording has allowed the band to experiment with new sounds and new themes.
As the frontman Danny Nedelko has explained, this new album will be a call for more self-confidence and self-worth:
“From inner observation of myself and of the people around me over the course of past year, I’ve noticed that it can sometimes very much be neglected. The purpose of this EP is to hopefully remind us to value ourselves and grow more comfortable in our skin – to believe in ourselves. Our own inner strength and capabilities are vastly superior to our own perception of them”.
After the release of the first single “(A Bit Of A) Birthday” from the new EP (planned for next week) and to coincide with the EP release, the punk band is going to celebrate their new EP with a UK and European tour in October and November, with 24 concerts scheduled for London, Bilbao, Paris, and other cities.
This tour will be a great occasion for the band to spread the message of the new record all around Europe after the success of their previous two EPs.
