Huddersfield Band Boxteles Unveils New Single ‘Harry & Bruce’

Boxteles are from West Yorkshire’s Huddersfield. These boys have a point to prove despite being sandwiched between the northern powerhouses. Their larger and more famous neighbors will have no idea what has been lurking in the shadows.

They have grown from release to release since its beginning in 2018. Trying to deal with topics that are personal to the band but resonate with everyone who listens.

Their transformation can be seen in their works of art and their ever-expanding musicality. The Boxteles sound has evolved after working in the studio with Mike Spink (The 1975, Gaslight Anthem, Jake Bugg) in 2021 and 2022. The band is diving into the new normal with heavier riffs, bigger hooks, and serious sentiments.

Tom Bedford (Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Ollie Harrison (Lead Guitar), Alex Richardson (Bass), and Oliver Perry (Drums) have all been deeply engaged in the music industry for years, offering them a great view of the ever-changing industry and a coherent direction of where the system which no longer functions.

The band prepares for the release of ‘Harry & Bruce,’ which will bring the classic ‘Teles’ sound you are familiar with. Harry & Bruce delves into our childhood dreams and hopes as well as the hard truth of real life, and it is both tragic and heartwarming (but in a fun way). Boxteles are diving headfirst into 2023, armed with new and old songs which go together, ready to be heard by any and all.

Thirsty for the road, no matter where it takes them as long as it gets them somewhere. They are now and forever accepting show bookings. Don’t pass up the opportunity to be a part of this trip.
