Hugo Weaving’s Niece Samara Set To Break Into Hollywood | Film News

The name Samara Weaving maybe unrecognisable with many film fans in the present time but few years down the line she is set to become a rising star in Hollywood. Samara is a 23 year old actress from Australia and is the niece of Hollywood star Hugo Weaving, whom is most familiar for his contribution to both the Matrix franchise and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

 

Weaving’s most recent success thus far is her modelling and television career in which she appeared on Home and Away as Indigo “Indi” Walker in a number of episodes. This helped establish the young Aussie with a flare to provide critical performances on screen. Her opposite counterpart Luke Mitchell whom played Romeo Smith, her fictional husband on Home and Away, has also ventured into the same career direction and has now become an emerging star in the U.S with successful appearances on current hit American television dramas such as The Tomorrow People and Marvel Agents of Shield (Series 2).

 

Samara Weaving will draw upon inspiration from previous Aussie soap stars like Margot Robbie and Isla Fisher whom have made it big in tinseltown and try model herself and her career on such successful individuals especially if she wants to aspire to be at the top of this industry. Weaving has nothing to lose and nothing to hold back with all the talent she possess the young blonde newcomer will make an impact on Hollywood like nothing else you have witnessed before. Samara Weaving is scheduled to make her Hollywood debut with the upcoming computer animated comedy drama Monster Trucks by director Chris Wedge and is to be released on March 18, 2016.
