Australian experimental electronic greats Ta-ku and Kit Pop‘s project HWLS has just uploaded their most recent music video. Some may argue the increasing number from each single starting at “001” just keeps getting better and better with the release of “005”. “005” presents a calming piano-heavy track infused with that classic chillwave sound we know and love from these Perth producers.
Collaborated with director Braden Lee, he chose to film this video in Tokyo, claiming: “Tokyo is this futuristic-dystopian metropolis rich in tradition and modernism. My goal was to merge these two themes. Throughout the story we follow two contemporary dancers to the famous Shibuya 5-way crossing. We also observe a mysterious masked figure”.
