Marvel fans are hyped for this film: it kicks off Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe; it adds a plethora of new super-powered heroes; and, it’s time for the Civil War: the battle of the super-humans with Captain America in one corner and Iron Man in the other! Content to build expectation and impatience until May 6, Marvel have just released an International Trailer for Captain America: Civil War which includes new footage.
Captain America: Civil War will contain the largest amount of heroes yet seen in Marvel’s films with Robert Downey Jr.‘s Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson‘s Black Widow, Jeremy Renner‘s Hawkeye, Paul Bettany‘s The Vision, Elizabeth Olsen‘s Scarlet Witch, Paul Rudd‘s Ant-Man and Don Cheadle‘s War Machine all set to join Chris Evans‘ Captain America. It has also been confirmed that Tom Holland will appear as Spider-Man!
The film follows Captain America as he leads the new Avengers in their quest to protect humanity. Yet another international incident surfaces which involves The Avengers and results in collateral damage which the team must be held accountable for. The government draw up legislation to keep the Avengers in check by having them answer to a governing body. There is resistance to the legislation from some of the members which causes a split in the team. Captain America: Civil War will be released May 6, 2016 and you can view the new trailer below.
