Irish Singer-Songwriter Moncrieff Returns With New Single ‘Warm’

In the lead up to his brand new single titled “Warm” with German label Energie Musik, Irish singer-songwriter Moncrieff has recently performed with pop superstar Adele and gains fans in the likes of icons such as Elton John and Avicii.

“Warm” is the lead single for his upcoming new EP, which is set for release this spring. It is a personal and catchy song and is being described as Moncrieff’s “first ever love song” that “does what it says on the tin” over a crisp, spellbinding, no-frills arrangement.

The track is a simple, heart-felt tune that will prick listeners’ ears, and even cause you to sing along as you get to the end of the song. It speaks about acceptance and dealing with another person’s faults in a soothing kind of way that can feel like a sonic safety net.

Speaking about the track, Moncrieff says, “Nobody’s perfect. This song is about being that person, and that rare moment in life when you find that person that truly sees you for you, your imperfections, flaws and scars as well as your good traits and loves you for them. It’s a really comforting and happy feeling to just know that all you have to do is be yourself”.

With an EP already under his belt and over 10 million streams on Spotify, Moncrieff went back to hone his songwriting skills further, adding that “I now have the tools to create really personal, simple and direct songs that don’t need to have any bells and whistles to tell the story. Music has always been a lens that I use to look at the world… and to process my feelings”.
