Celebrity Big Brother seems to rejuvenate many a career – why else would these celebrities slum it with no hot water, washing machine or professional blow-drys, if it wasn’t for the chance to kickstart their careers? A good example of this is Bobby Davro, who made a good impression in last year’s series. Now, Davro, speaking to BANG Showbiz, has revealed that he’d love to return to Eastenders, in which he played the character of Vinnie Monks.
The good news for Davro is that the soap’s producers gave him an open invitation to return to the role. But the funnyman is clear that he doesn’t want to be saddled with a long contract – he’d rather appear in a few episodes instead, because he fears being typecast. Rather amusingly, Davro also admitted that he ‘never’ watches Eastenders either.
