Cutting costs but with profits still rising, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. ITV profits have risen by 9% as the production arm of the broadcaster arm thrives. The Broadcaster saw a 31% rise in revenues but is still seeking to cut costs over the uncertainty of the Brexit fallout.
ITV’s chief executive, Adam Crozier, commented on the impact of Brexit saying:
“I don’t think the result of the vote changed anything, that’s partly because it is too early to say, and partly because nothing much is going to happen very soon. it’s going to be a two to five-year process”.
