Jamie Woon has been laying low since 2011 when he released his debut album Mirrorwriting, and in the past few years, Woon has been collaborating with electronic artists such as Royce Wood Junior and Disclosure among others. In a recent interview on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio station, Jamie revealed he is moving away from an electronic sound and stepping towards a live sound saying, “it’s still the same type of songs, it’s just a real drummer and bass player, not electronic“. The Singer-Songwriter has employed the help of producer Lexx, and has been heavily inspired by D’Angelo’s Voodoo for this new album.
