I know I’m coming in a few weeks late on this one but the latest single “Nobody” from Bristol singer and songwriter Javeon is definitely worth checking out! That last line and melody on the chorus, which is taken from Keith Sweat’s “Nobody” will definitely win you over, if nothing else does.
“Nobody” is taken from Javeon’s forthcoming EP, which is due for release later this month. Produced by Zack The Lad, the track is a catchy electronic bass offering, led by Javeon’s smooth vocal performance, driving basslines and a funk music sensibility, that is sure to dominate dancefloors this summer.
Speaking about how the song came about, Javeon says, “‘Nobody’ was a product of the final session I did with Zack the Lad for my new EP. It’s a blend of UK Electronic Bass music, and a pop top line with a very catchy hook. It’s a perfect blend of what I’ve done in the past and what I’m currently working on”.
Javeon is currently signed to Fraser T. Smith’s new publishing company, Seventy Hertz, and has already co-written and featured with the likes of Tory Lanez, Clean Bandit, 5AM and Janice, alongside earlier collaborations with Julio Bashmore, Le Youth and Cyril Hahn, among others. Look out for his new EP later this month.
