R&B mainstays Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign have collaborated multiple times over the years, so the announcement of a joint album came at no surprise. With the promise of the album, dubbed MihTy, they have really brought out all the stops for their first single and waste no time giving us a video for luscious new track “The Light“.
The duo give us a smooth R&B offering for our first taste of MihTy. Courtesy of Keni Burke‘s 80’s classic “Risin’ To The Top“, they sample the feel good track for real nostalgic feels.
The fellas hit up the Moonlight Rollerway in California for some old school fun. While the ladies get to skating inside, the party then continues in the parking lot for a big dance jam. Ty and Jeremih look on as dancers bust out their best moves and snap photos of the roller rink bash.
No set date for the album yet but Ty Dolla $ign recently re-released a deluxe version of last year’s Beach House 3, while Jeremih is gearing up for a new tour and dropped his The Chocolate Box EP earlier in the year.
