Tenet star John David Washington will soon be back on our screens with a brand new project. He will be starring in the next Gareth Edwards film titled True Love. The movie will follow the Stars Wars vibe and will be very sci-fi like.
Regards the premise, according to Hollywood Reporter, the details are still being kept from the public, we will have to wait and look out for the information as soon as it comes out! New Regency will be financing the movie.
What we know is that the film is set in the near future and is from an original idea from Edwards, who will write and direct, Kiri Hart will produce along with Edwards, who has several acclaimed movies under his belt including Monsters, 2014’s Godzilla and the film Legendary.
As for Washington, who rose his acting career thanks to HBO’s Ballers and Spike Lee’s Oscar Award-winning movie BlacKkKlansman, he has an untitled David O. Russell film coming up.
In the past year, he has been seen starring in the Christopher Nolan sci-fi action film Tenet and the Netflix film Malcolm & Marie with Zendeya
We can only guess that True Love, with this apparent sci-fi vibe, could be the next big feature for the rising and talented actor. We will keep you posted.
