Fast-rising Houston rapper, and OG Maco affiliate, John Ibe is proud to deliver the brand new music video for hard-hitting single titled “F.O.M.“, taken from his long-awaited forthcoming EP JIBE scheduled for release in the summer, and follows on from his acclaimed 2016 mixtape Obstructed Environments.
Released earlier this month, with widespread support, he returns with the official music video for the EZM-produced banger. Directed by Reeves Junya, the visuals feature John Ibe bouncing throughout downtown L.A, in a fitting visual to highlight John’s sentiment on “F.O.M.” of having your own back against all odds – the Houston native is back and here to stay!
Speaking on how it all came about, John Ibe says, “There’s a time and place when you feel the world is against you, and you are the only one who has your own back, if you’re going through that feeling, then you will relate to ‘F.O.M’.”
“The video came about when I was on the train in New York recently, I figured I had to craft a visual that portrays how I’m the only one who really has my back in this rap game, everything else is just extra”.
