Joseph Gordon-Levitt has released an image which sees him as daredevil Philippe Petit on the set for The Walk. Gordon-Levitt stars in the biopic as Petit who walks on a high-wire between the two World Trade Centre towers in New York. He and seven people managed to get past security to execute the stunt. The film is based on Petit’s autobiography titled The Walk. Actor Charlotte Le Bon appears in the image alongside Gordon-Levitt, while Ben Kingsley and James Badge Dale also feature in the movie. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis and will premiere in US cinemas on the 2nd of October 2015, a UK release date has not yet been announced.
