Justin Timberlake is back! The US artist and actor confirmed the preparation of a new album during an interview on the set of the famous American talk-show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 31. “Yes, we can say that”, he replied as soon as Jimmy Fallon asked him if a new album was in the works.
A publication on the Instagram of the performer of “SexyBack” dated September 28, 2020 already hinted at the artist’s return. In a short video, Timberlake and Timbaland, one of his long-time collaborators, were shown in the studio with the description “Back together again“.
We can therefore expect Timbaland to be present on this new project. Since the beginning of JT’s solo career, the artist and producer have collaborated together. It, therefore, seems natural for Timbaland to be present on this album.
Nevertheless, Justin Timberlake also expressed his desire to collaborate with other artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott. “Kendrick is on the top of my list. Kendrick, Travis Scott”, the artist told Jimmy.
A wish, which we hope will come true. In the past, the singer has already made this kind of collaboration, such as on the song “Believe” with Meek Mill and “Don’t Slack” with Anderson Paak.
