Justin Timberlake is apparently readying a new single for release as soon as May. The Max Martin-produced song will appear on DreamWorks’ Trolls soundtrack, which is tentatively set for an October release.
Furthermore, Timberlake is also working on a new solo album, his first since 2013’s double effort The 20/20 Experience. The album is due to drop towards the end of the year, with production by Martin and Timberlake’s longtime collaborators Pharrell Williams and Timbaland.
The 20/20 Experience debuted at No. 1 in March 2013 with 980,000 copies, whilst The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 arrived in September of the same year with 348,000 copies.
