Teenage prodigy Jvck James has released his new single “Wine“, the third track revealed by the hotly tipped R&B newcomer this year following previous releases “On My Way” and “Fears” earlier in the summer.
Working with Toronto-based collaborator LordQuest (SZA, ScHoolboy Q) for the first time, “Wine” finds Jvck in imperious form and further cements his position as one of the rising stars of UK R&B. His vocal ability is undeniable and is beautifully married with piano driven melodies and hard hitting R&B drum patterns. It’s everything you could want in an R&B track.
Explaining his inspiration while writing “Wine”, Jvck articulates: “At such a young age we all make mistakes. Sometimes that’s a good thing and just part of growing up; over time we age like a fine wine!”.
Having picked up radio play from the likes of Mistajam, Jamz Supernova and Julie Adenuga while also recording an incredible Spotlight Session for BBC 1Xtra’s, Jvck’s stock has been seeing a steady rise.
