Kat Eaton Shares ‘Trying’ From Soulful New Album ‘Honestly’

Kat Eaton, the soul artist hailing from Wales but calling Yorkshire home, has just unveiled her latest album, Honestly. This collection of songs delves into the depths of personal experience, covering themes from love and mental health to the challenges of balancing life’s expectations.

In her newest single, “Trying“, Kat bravely confronts the pressures of societal norms, particularly regarding family planning alongside a career pursuit. Reflecting on the track, Kat shares, “We’re all going through something and if we’re not quite where we want to be in life it’s not for lack of trying”.

Before “Trying”, Kat had been gaining attention with singles like “Bad Advice”, “Addicted”, and “Time We Said Goodbye”, all featured on her latest album. Her music has already caught the attention of BBC 6music, BBC Radio Wales, and various music magazines.

With her partner and collaborator Nick Atkinson by her side, Kat’s musical journey has led to the creation of her latest album, a seamless blend of soul, R&B, blues, and gospel.
