After much speculation, it’s been confirmed that Pop sensation Katy Perry will be the Superbowl halftime act at next year’s event in February. The star will be following in the footsteps of such montumental half time performers such as Beyoncé, Madonna and The Black Eyed Peas who each gave spectacular performances at the staple NFL sports event. There is no doubt of Katy’s presence in the pop industry but it remains to be seen in how well her ‘fun & cutesty’ performance style can translate to an audience of billions.
