Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Kelly Rowland recently gave birth to her second child and she turned 40 last week. On top of that, she just released a new EP entitled K on Friday, February 19.
Kelly Rowland has been spoiling fans with new music recently and shows no signs of slowing down. Her new EP K, which includes 6 beautiful songs to enjoy, follows up her 2019 offering The Kelly Rowland Edition and is influenced by R&B and afrobeats rhythms. Kelly Rowland began her career as a founding member of Destiny’s Child, one of the world’s best-selling and most popular girl groups of all time. During the group’s hiatus, Rowland released her first solo studio album Simply Deep that included her hit “Dilemma”.
Following the disbandment of Destiny’s Child in 2006, Kelly released her second solo album Ms. Kelly which produced international top hits like “Work” and “Like This”
As for her more recent works, the singer released the song “Black Magic” on February 12 to commemorate her 40th birthday and to celebrate Black Culture. The track was supported with a music video directed by Mayowa and Emanuele Pica and starred Kelly’s son Titan and her youngest baby Noah, who was born on January 21.
