“I Don’t Know” is the first single from the forthcoming debut EP by artist Kiko Mori, real name Frederico Medeiros. He is a multi-instrumentalist musician and producer.
Kiko Mori grew up in Lisbon, Portugal and was immersed in music from an early age, learning instruments such as the piano, guitar, classical music and jazz. As he grew up, he became interested in beat-making and music production. So he went to study at the Abbey Road Institute in Amsterdam and received his diploma.
Kiko Mori is self-produced and inspired by many different genres such as Lo-Fi Hip-Hop, alternative rock, soul and video game music. In his music, he’s looking to create groovy beats with a vintage sound. The artist also draws a lot of inspiration from the media and Japanese aesthetics.
The song “I Don’t Know” was entirely composed, produced, and performed by the artist. You can hear the jazzy style of the guitars and a voice that carries you away. The artist wanted to create a melancholic but optimistic piece of music.
His first EP will be released song by song and “I Don’t Know” is the first single released on January 3, 2020. The song is accompanied by a teaser video and an upcoming video clip.
