Kojey Radical has released his new track “Kwame Nkumah” which you can listen to below via SoundCloud. When speaking with Noisey, Kojey said of the song:
“I wrote this record for my Dad, Kwame Nkrumah is the first president of Ghana and the man that lead Ghana to independence. My dad would speak so highly of him. Echoing with pride what Kwame had done to unite African Nations. I wanted to continue that level of pride, do something that young minds and forward thinkers could rally behind…Like a soundtrack to human resilience. Something my people could be proud of”.
The song is taken of the forthcoming EP 23Winters, which is due for for release February 23rd.
