Reggae legend Shaggy has appeared as a cameo in Krishane’s new single “Money Can’t Buy No Love”. The new single premiered last night (July 14) on MistaJam’s BBC Radio 1Xtra show, and the single will be available to buy from August 28 via Atlantic Records.
Speaking of Shaggy, Krishane said, “I’ve been listening to Shaggy from a young age, on my 10th birthday my aunty bought me ‘Boombastic’ and I have a vivid memory of eating fruit cake and dancing around listening to it. Looking up to him not only as a legend in music, but also someone who has done a lot for our country gives me great honour to have him featuring on my record. He brought so much passion to the track and for that I have even more love and respect for him. Shaggy I salute you“.
The single is very summer sounding, and is perfect for the final few summer months. It has a reggae pop jam sound which is soothing and mellow in a way, and makes you want to grab the nearest cocktail and shake your hips and smile.
