LA Pop Artist Ellie D. Releases New Single ‘Reach Out’

Ellie D. has released a new song titled “Reach Out”. Although it’s a breakup song, this is not your typical breakup song. This song is about that period of time right after a break up when you already ended things with someone and you want to hit them up but without being the first to send that text or make that call.

She explains that she had ended things with someone and she wanted to tell them about the new job she had got. But she didn’t want to be the first one to reach out to them.

So she wrote this song about this weird situation when you talk to someone daily and you share everything with them and then it suddenly stops and you have absolutely nothing to say to them. The dilemma if you should reach out or wait for the other person to think alike feels like an impossible game with absolutely no rules.

The artist has a honest brand to her name when it comes to her vulnerable lyrics and catchy melodies. She has over 1000 voice memos on her phone and she’s always recording her thoughts, making the stream of various thoughts turn into music.

Her music style mimics the sentiments of LA, vibey, chill and reflective although sometimes moody and hopeful. Her favourite artists are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billy Joel, The Who and Fleerwood Mac.

This track was produced by Pink Skies and mixed by Yianni Anastos-Prastacos.
