Pop singer Lady Gaga and vintage champagne brand Dom Pérignon have teamed up to launch The Queendom, a multimedia campaign directed by Nick Knight, based on shared values such as creative freedom.
The 1:12 minute short film entitled Creative Freedom Is Power features Gaga in a fantasy world, with some of the most sumptuous looks in the world and a glass of Dom Perignon Rosé in hand, all set to the song “Free Woman” from her 2020 album Chromatica.
The centerpiece of the collaboration is a limited edition sculpture surrounding a jeroboam of Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2005 numbering 110, which will only be sold at private sales events. All proceeds from these sales will go directly to the Born This Way Charity that the singer launched in 2011.
“There’s nothing more important than showing kindness to one another and giving back. Than creating a world where everyone is seen, heard and loved”, asserts Gaga of the organisation’s work promoting the wellbeing of young people. “Generosity can make a change, and I’m honoured that Dom Pérignon is kind enough to give back as part of our collaboration”.
For those who are not lucky enough to have his sculptures, don’t panic! An exclusive series of Vintage 2010 and Rosé 2006 are scheduled for release this fall. In addition, Gaga and Dom Pérignon will continue to announce new programs over the next two years.
