Lauryn Hill has been posting songs and clips from her upcoming contribution to the Nina Simone tribute album Nina Revisited: A Tribute To Nina Simone which is due to be released in conjunction with the forthcoming documentary What Happened, Miss Simone. The tribute album is due for release via RCA on July 10.
Previously, Hill has shared her cover of “Feeling Good” and a snipped of “I’ve Got Life” She has now shared her cover of “Black Is The Color Of My True Loves Hair”. Usher who is also due to be part of the tribute album has also shared his cover of “My Baby Just Cares For Me”. Other artists that are due to be featured on the album are Mary J Blige, Common, Greogory Porter and Lisa Simone, who is the daughter of Nina. The documentary What Happened, Miss Simone is due to air on Netflix on June 26 and you can watch the Lauryn Hill cover below.
