When referring to the musician Lawrence Rothman, we don’t say “him”, we say “them”. The genderfluid artist has 9 identities since childhood, and the newest music video for the song “Stand By” features him as Aleister.
The video was shot in the Mojave Desert, California, in an airplane graveyard, place full of poisonous snakes, scorpions and tarantulas. Fortunately, the crew was able to make another impressive clip for another great artist’s song. This one, “Stand By”, was really personal for Lawrence, written after disagreement with father.
The single is taken from Lawrence’s debut LP The Book Of Law. All of the stunning visuals for album’s tracks were shot by talented photographer and director Floria Sigismondi, who has also worked with David Bowie, Rihanna, Leonard Cohen and many more other famous artists.
Each of the video features different Lawrence’s alter-egos, which all are authentic versions of him since early age, and you can meet all of them on the official artist’s website.
