Lila Tristram Releases Touching New Track ‘Arrow’ | Music News

 

The author, composer, performer and multi-instrumentalist based in East London Lila Tristram has released her latest single, “Arrow”, on January 14. This is the third single from her expected EP that marks her emergence as a solo artist. She is a graduate of Goldsmiths University, much sought after by British musicians.

 

The artist started recording in the summer of 2018, but it is since the winter of 2019 that she has experienced a real emergence. Since then, she has been acclaimed by many radio stations and music industry professionals. BBC producer Claire Slevin described her as “The Bon Iver Woman of the UK”.

 

In addition, the artist has been nominated as the face of BBC Sound’s November 2019 hotlist, and caught the attention of BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Jon Hillcock. Lila has co-produced the single “Arrow” with Michael Burrows, and it was mastered by Tim Debney

 

The artist was inspired by artists such as Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell and John Martyn when she wrote this very personal song which is a testimony to her mother and to all parents.
