Sweet and seductive, the single “Honey Dew” from Lion Babe now has matching visuals, shot in the Taconic Sculpture Park, upstate New York – where nature meets art of a talented sculptor Roy Kanwit.
Inspired by the late 60’s french film, the video features artistic aesthetics and expressive clothing, but the main focus here, like in all the other duo’s music videos, is on the gorgeously attractive, lion-lookalike singer Jillian Hervey.
Hervey and Lucas Goodman teamed up as a duo Lion Babe back in 2012 and released a single “Treat Me Like Fire“. That’s when it started – a deal with Interscope, collaborations with Pharrell, Childish Gambino & Mark Ronson, debut album Begin… and it’s still just the beginning.
Both the vocalist and producer came from artistic families – Goodman’s parents both are known in punk-inspired fashion industry, while Hervey’s father is a music manager and her mother – Grammy, Emmy and Tony awards nominee, famous actress and singer Vanessa Williams.
Lion Babe will play a few shows in California next month and they also promise more news soon, so let’s keep the tabs open and watch their newest video:
