Leeds band, Living Body, are excited for the imminent, Friday (December 2) release of the debut album, Body Is Working. This comes on Kingfisher Bluez in the USA/Canada and Barely Regal in the UK/EU. Apparently the project came together in its most skeleton form within a deconsecrated church in Leeds. Track listing and December tour dates below.
The band spawned from Chicagoan ex-pat multi-instrumentalist Jeff T. Smith (formerly Juffage), joining longtime collaborators Katie Harkin (Harkin, Sky Larkin, Sleater-Kinney, Flock Of Dimes, Wild Beasts), and Tom Evans (Vessels). They are augmented live by Alice Rowan (Mayshe-Mayshe) and Sarah Statham (Esper Scout).
