Legendary funk rock band, Living Colour, have shared their cover of Notorious B.I.G’s classic track “Who Shot Ya?“, citing the social tension in America as a reason the song stands out to them as particularly relevant in the modern day. Produced by Andre Betts and featuring Chuck D, Prodigal Sunn, Black Thought, Pharoahe Monch and Kyle Mansa for a host of guest verse. The track is an electric, booming take on the song.
Living Colour have announced an EP, titled Mixtape, featuring the track along with a host of remixes. The band are also releasing an album titled Shade, the first in seven years and their sixth since 1988.
