London-based singer and songwriter SAI, whose name is an acronym for ‘Sing About It’, has recently shared a new single named “G.A.Y (Good As You)“.
Featuring UK rap artist Young Spray, SAI brings her sensual low vocals together with a catchy pop hook. SAI’s breathtaking vocals complemented by smooth melodies and genuine lyrics is something that definately deserves listening and adding up the song to your favourites.
The artist shares her excitement on the release: “G.A.Y’, a full-blown dedication to that one person you rate above everything, is about giving someone their flowers while they can still smell them. I love the song title so much because of its uniqueness and the intrigue it creates! It also sits perfectly with my outlook on life which is to do whatever and WHOever makes you happy!”
The freshly-released track was executed by two fine UK producers, ADC, who previously worked with Chris Brown, Dua Lipa and Krept&Konan, and 808Bhav808, whose name is behind some Gorgon City and Ilira projects.
SAI’s career started with her writing a song on Ariana Grande’s first album. This success was followed by a chance of representing UK in The Eurovision Song Contest in 2019.
The singer has been elaborating her unique sound for many years: a sound that combines sugar soul with nostalgic 90’s melodies packed with badass attitude of a bosswoman! Or as SAI describes her art herself: “heart-felt but chilled new soul, with touches of old-school RnB.”
Looked up in a studio, SAI will treat her fans with a soon-to-be-released EP. Featuring her colleagues ADC, 808Bhav808, the project is expected to be a great work of art!
