Lorde has not only bagged two Grammy Awards and a BRIT award this year, she has now signed up to create a limited edition make-up collection with MAC! The MAC professionals worked with her on her looks for both award ceremonies, with MAC Senior artist Amber Dreadon created a berry-hued lip for the Grammy Award ceremonies and gave her the Mac Pro Lipmix in black mixed with Lipstick in Smoked Purple for the BRIT awards.
Lorde said about the partnership, “I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [the pale pink Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends. MAC has a very clear aesthetic that has always felt fashion-forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too“.
We are looking forward to seeing the cosmetics hit the shelf and it should be sold exclusively on the MAC website and at selected MAC stores this summer.
